Are they talkative or reserved: definitely talkative, though he rarely ever speaks about himself. it takes him a while to open up about anything, if at all
Are they patient or impatient: both. he’ll be patient if there’s something he wants and he knows it’s worth the wait, but he’s totally impatient when it comes to fighting !! he practically itches to get onto the battlefield
Are they cautious or daring: daring to a t !! canonically he throws himself into fights without thinking twice & with no thought for his own life. not worrying at all

Are they flirty: Contrary To Popular Belief he doesn’t intend to be, though the way he acts around people can come off like flirting. he would be consciously flirty if he was trying to pursue someone [me], in his own unique way of course >3
Are they quick to apologise: if he realises he’s hurt someone he cares about then yes. he’d mean it wholeheartedly too. he wouldn’t be likely to apologise if he felt wronged, unless the situation needed to be patched for Diplomatic Reasons
Their closest friend[s] [besides you]: he doesn’t really have anyone you could call a friend :[ he has a kind-of-friendship with the traveller in genshin, though i think that’s played up for the game narrative. he has been shown to gather fans around teyvat so people do find him likeable [if only at the surface level], but he seems to somewhat keep people at arm’s length.
Their religious beliefs [if any]: the entire purpose of his job as a harbinger is to follow the will of Her Majesty the Tsaritsa, and he takes this seriously. he respects Her, even going as far as basing his identity around being Her weapon. which he doesn’t see the problems with, by the way.
Their sense/style of humor: he’s totally the sort of guy to spout dad jokes [in an event one time he had a conversation that went something like ‘what if someone promised to fight you and then stood you up’ ‘i can assure you i wouldn’t be lying down before a fight’] i also think he’d have a dark sense of humour, not in an overused way, but in that he wouldn’t realise how morbid the joke will seem to others before he says it. part common russian humour, part desensitised to violence death and the like

Do they seem [at a glance] more “strong” or “intelligent”: strong in the Oh My God It’s Childe The Harbinger way, rather than actual strength. that being said, he’s so much stronger than you’d realise at first glance which is terrifying. he’s also more intelligent than he lets on
Do they usually solve or cause problems: oh he absolutely causes problems. so much so that the other harbingers canonically try to get him sent away from snezhnaya for missions, so he doesn’t ‘invite unwanted trouble’
Do they usually arrive on time or late: he is always on time at the latest
Do they prefer being indoors or outdoors: outdoors !!
Do they want kids: absolutely >3 though i believe he’s not in a position to raise kids without a few issues arising right now… maybe if he grew to be more settled one day
Do they have good penmanship: absolutely !! he has a canon signature which is very pretty, plus he gets lots of practice writing frequent letters to his family >3 cough cough he sends letters to me too cough
Do they forgive easily: i think he’s the type of person to hold grudges, so no
Do they cry easily: i’m gonna say no, for good reason. the 3 months he spent in the abyss was arguably the most crucial period of his life so far, and i imagine his mentor down there taught 14-year-old him to be as quiet as possible, so as to not attract monsters. this most likely includes telling him not to show fear/cry. do you see the train of thought. so not only does he not cry easily, but i think it’s hard for him to cry at all.
